Burlesque Immersion Level 1 with Lola LeSoleil Wednesdays, 7:00–8:25 PM Price: $750 Includes: 14 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series 1: Sept 9 – Oct 28 Series 2: Nov 4 – Jan 6 No Class: 9/23, 11/25, 12/23, 12/30 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 Immersion Photoshoot with Sebas Studio: 11/1, 1-4 PM This beginner burlesque class familiarizes you with burlesque history, language, and movement styles of this multifaceted American art form. No experience necessary! We'll start the journey with a foundation of essential jazz dance moves such as box steps, pivots, three-step turns, and stage walks. But it's not just about the steps! Along the way, we'll expand the path with signature burlesque energy and style using tension, tempo, and timing. By the end, you'll have mastered a fully choreographed routine as part of a stunning chorus line. Attendance is key in this group series. Every session helps build the ensemble chemistry needed for an outstanding performance you can be proud of! Immersion Program Perks: •Full access to all Masterclasses: (Typically) Sundays, 1:00 PM – 2:25 PM. •Complimentary Promo Shoot with Sebas Studio: November 1st, 1-4 PM. A professional photoshoot designed to help you build your performer portfolio and pump up your promo. Student Learning Outcomes: • Two (2) choreographed routines • Evaluate movement skills in terms of space, time, and force and reproduce accurately through the movement of your body. • Incorporate characterization while maintaining dance form and formation.
