Studio Policies & Terms
General Guidelines
-
Cancellations: If a class is canceled by the studio, notification will be sent no later than two hours prior to the class start time.
-
Flexibility: Class schedules, instructors, pricing, and services are subject to change without prior notice.
-
Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds; however, studio credit may be issued at our discretion.
-
Attendance Policy: To participate in the student showcase, dancers are expected to attend at least 75% of their Performance Series classes (e.g., max 1 absence for 4 week series, 2 for 6-8 weeks, and 3 for 12 weeks). Instructors retain final discretion to pull a student from the showcase if absences prevent them from performing the choreography safely or cohesively with the ensemble. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours before any absence to help our teachers manage spacing and team formations.
Class Passes
-
Ownership: Passes and credits are non-transferable and cannot be shared between students.
-
Expiration: It is the student’s responsibility to monitor expiration dates. We do not offer extensions on class passes.
-
Attendance: To retain your credit, you must notify the studio of an absence at least 2 hours before class begins. Late cancellations or "no-shows" will result in the class being deducted from your account.
Inclement Weather
In the event of weather-related closures, we will prioritize communication via email, followed by phone. Please ensure your student profile contains up-to-date contact information to stay informed.
The ACA Code of Conduct
Atlanta Creative Arts
Atlanta Creative Arts is a creative sanctuary for all, regardless of race, body type, gender identity, or ability. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bullying in any form—physical, verbal, or digital.
Consent & Personal Space
Respect for personal boundaries is mandatory. All students must consent to touch and honor the physical space of others. Any behavior that compromises the collective safety of the class will result in immediate removal without a refund.
Media & Privacy
By entering the studio, you consent to being photographed or filmed for ACA promotional purposes. However, we prioritize your comfort: students must ask for verbal consent before filming or photographing fellow dancers for personal social media. If you wish to opt out of studio-led media, please notify your instructor before class begins.
Professional Respect
We share this space with a community of artists. Theft or intentional damage to studio property or the belongings of others will result in dismissal from the program.
Our Commitment
ACA instructors are dedicated to maintaining a safe, professional environment. We reserve the right to refuse service or discontinue enrollment to ensure these standards are upheld.
