Burlesque Intensive: Intermediate Chair Acro with Ava Cado Tuesdays, 7:00-8:25 PM Price: $250 Includes: 7 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series: Nov 3 – Jan 5 No Class: 11/24, 12/22, 12/29 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 Ready to step up your game? Ava Cado is ready to help elevate your chair acro up! Discover new ways to flow on the chair and impress audiences! Students will learn more complex transitions and poses, with a focus on balance poses. Students will work on arm balances to accompany those balance poses. In this class you will work on moving from pose to pose without rest, and how to connect movement without ever touching the ground. Requirements: Students are able to shoulder stand in seat without assistance, students are comfortable with inversions with minimal assistance. Learning Outcomes: •Learn one (1) choreographed routine. •Master more complex chair acro poses, focusing heavily on balance. •Develop arm balances designed to complement and enhance balance poses. •Learn how to move seamlessly from pose to pose without rest. What to Bring: •Water Bottle •Comfortable, Form-Fitting Athletic Wear •Dance heels, Salsa boots, platform dance heels/boots •Kneepads ​*This Intensive is not part of the requirement for the Atlanta Burlesque Academy Graduation Track.
