Burlesque Intensive Level 2 Series 2 with Zara Estelle Sundays, 5:30–6:55 PM Price: $250 Includes: 7 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series 2: Nov 1 – Jan 3 No Class: 11/29, 12/20, 12/27 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 Level II Burlesque is an intermediate burlesque course designed for students who have completed the Level I foundation and are ready to solidify their technique and build genuine stage confidence. Under the guidance of Zara Estelle, we will focus on translating technical knowledge into impactful, expressive performance, preparing you to approach the advanced work of Level 3. Expand on your foundation with more complex turn sequences, advanced level changes, and dynamic travel steps across the stage. Focus will be placed on clean execution and smooth transitions. Zara will train you to interpret music, utilizing dynamics, rhythm changes, and emotional tone to enhance the narrative of your dance. Burlesque II is a chorus/ensemble series that focuses on cabaret dance and burlesque movement within group dance routines and techniques. Learning outcomes: • One (1) choreographed routines • Evaluating movement skills in terms of space, other dancers, props and storytelling • Master using stillness, focus, and controlled tension and release • Musicality What to Bring: • Notebook & Writing Utensils • Black Dance Shoes • Water *This Intensive is part of the requirement for the Atlanta Burlesque Academy Graduation Track.
