Burlesque Intensive: Sensual Heels with La Flaca Wednesdays, 8:30-10:00 PM Price: $250 Includes: 7 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series: Nov 4 – Jan 6 No Class: 11/25, 12/23, 12/30 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 This class is designed to build technical confidence in heels, this series focuses on a two-minute choreographed routine rooted in sensual movement and stage authority. We’ll break down the mechanics of intentional whines, hair flips, and a commanding presence. The curriculum emphasizes ensemble work, using precise lines and formation changes to create captivating visual illusions. Learning Outcomes: •Learn one (1) choreographed routine. • Execute intentional whines, body rolls, and hair flips safely and fluidly • Develop precise footwork, clean lines, and balance to dance with technical confidence • Project a commanding, captivating presence by exploring eye contact & facial performance What to Bring: •Dance heels, Salsa boots, platform dance heels/boots •Other acceptable footwear includes jazz flats, dance sneakers or barefoot. •Kneepads •Water ​*This Intensive is not part of the requirement for the Atlanta Burlesque Academy Graduation Track.
