Burlesque Intensive: Tools of the Tease with Lola LeSoliel, Series 1 Wednesdays, 8:30-10:00 PM Price: $250 Includes: 7 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series 1: Sept 9 – Oct 28 No Class: 9/23 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 An all-levels group dance series introducing the essentials of prop-based choreography to add flair to performances and enhance storytelling. Students will learn prop manipulation and spatial awareness, staging logistics, and musicality. This series featured props are jazz canes. Cane skills will include twirls, taps, and catches. Student Learning Outcomes: • One (1) choreographed routines • Evaluate movement skills in terms of space, time, and force and reproduce accurately through the movement of your body. • Incorporate characterization while maintaining dance form and formation. What to Bring: • Notebook & Writing Utensils • Black Dance Shoes • Water *This Intensive is not part of the requirement for the Atlanta Burlesque Academy Graduation Track.
