Dance Foundations with Zara Estelle 6-Week Series | July 12 – August 16 Sundays • 3:45-5:25 PM Tuition: $180 Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, August 20 Student Showcase: Sunday, August 30 Become a well-rounded mover! This is a welcoming, beginner-level class that covers the three essential pillars of Western theatrical dance: the disciplined structure of Ballet, the expressive freedom of Modern, and the dynamic flair of Jazz. Our focus is on ensuring students develop versatility, strength, and coordination. This class is specifically designed for absolute beginners and those with minimal dance experience. The first part of class will be technique-based, the remaining duration will be choreography-based in building a piece for the student showcase . Student Learning Outcomes: Expand your dance vocabulary Perform basic positions Execute core exercises from each discipline Transition between the movement qualities and principles of Ballet, Modern, and Jazz within a single phrase of movement Learn one (1) choreographed routine combining elements from all three techniques What to bring: •Water • Knee pads About Us: Atlanta Creative Arts (ACA) is an inclusive creative hub for intentional movement and artistic expression.
