Dance Intensive: Twerk Technique with La Flaca Wednesdays, 7:00–8:25 PM Price: $250 Includes: 7 weeks of instruction + Student Spotlight Showcase Series: Sept 9 – Oct 28 No Class: 9/16 Dress Rehearsal: Dec 13 Student Spotlight Showcase: Jan 10 Get ready to sweat, shake, and release! This high-energy series is designed to teach you the core fundamentals of twerking and all its dynamic derivatives. We blend sexy, fast-paced drills with high-intensity choreography for a workout that is as challenging as it is fun. You’ll learn how to master pelvic release and discover how to move muscles and body parts you didn’t even know you could shake! This series breaks down twerk technique through a dynamic, two-minute choreographed routine designed to build both stamina and skill. Beyond the movement, we’ll focus on essential stagecraft: spatial awareness, clean formation changes, and ensemble interaction. Learning Outcomes: •Learn one (1) choreographed routine. • Master foundational twerk techniques • Practice working within a group, performing in sync with fellow dancers. What to Bring: •Sneakers for dance •Kneepads •Water *This Intensive is not part of the requirement for the Atlanta Burlesque Academy Graduation Track.
