Spotlight Artist: Talloolah Love 9/6 8-10 PM $25 Deeper Than Skin: A Character Development Workshop with Talloolah Love We all have a character we portray when we step onto the stage. Whether your stage is the bedroom for an audience of one or a spotlight in front of hundreds, how we project that character through our bodies and facial expressions is extremely important. This class is about understanding what you want to reveal to your audience... and it ain't all about the skin you show! Talloolah Love will help you cultivate and develop your character, wherever you are in the process of creating your burlesque persona. This class will meet you where you are! Part lecture and part dance class, this workshop combines discussion, self-reflection, and lightly choreographed movement. Please bring paper and something to write with, and be prepared to move, dance, and sweat! Heels are not necessary, but they can be worn to your comfort. Clothing should be comfortable and easy to move in. Students are required to bring an overshirt or lightweight jacket or sweater for the choreography portion of the class (it does not need closures). *This class requires a minimum of 5 enrollments*
