Masterclass: Floorshow Flex with Lola LeSoleil Sunday, 1:00–2:25 PM Dec 6 $30 A workshop to help you get out of your head and into their hearts for floorshows and interactive performances. Imagine you've been booked for a gig and discover it's in the round or there's a catwalk or it's a floorshow and you have questions. Let's create some answers! Guided by her affinity for performing in floorshows and with live bands, this 90 minute workshop with Lola LeSoleil will illuminate performance logistics, step you through the fourth-wall, and offer ways to mold nerves into nuance through group exercises with your classmates. This workshop is perfect for burlesque, singers, fringe, and drag artists, or anyone unsure of stepping off the stage and into the audience. Topics covered include: familiarizing yourself with the performance space, audience connection/circulation and managing reveals and/or tip collection (if applicable) We'll use the end of session for brainstorming how to modify an existing stage act, or spark ideas for a floorshow piece - feel free to bring a favorite costume piece or prop.
